Scheduling and bookings
When you book a session or appointment through this website, we collect personal information to complete the booking. We may collect:

Invoices and payments

Squarespace makes use of Stripe, a third-party payment processing provider, which also receives your personal information and processes it in accordance with their privacy policy. I do not store card details myself.
Proposals and contracts
When you contact me about booking, or agree to a service, I collect information necessary to negotiate, draft, and execute the booking contract.

Details relating to your booking (for example, date, venue, package, partner's name)
This information is processed and stored securely through the Squarespace platform.
Marketing emails
If you opt in, I may send you marketing emails — for example, news about my work, special offers, or seasonal availability. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of the email. I provide your contact information to my email marketing provider so they can send these emails on my behalf.
Booking and account emails
I may email you with messages about your booking. For example:
Confirmation of an enquiry or booking
Invoices and payment reminders
Pre-shoot questionnaires or planning information
Delivery of your gallery
Updates relating to your wedding or session
It's not possible to unsubscribe from these messages while you have an active booking — they're necessary to deliver the service.
Photographs
The photographs taken during your booking are processed for two purposes:
To deliver your gallery to you — covered by your booking contract.
For my portfolio and marketing — including this website, social media, and submissions to wedding publications. Your booking contract sets out the specific permissions you have granted, and you can request that specific images be excluded or removed at any time by emailing me. If you have not signed a contract granting marketing permission, I will not publish your images.
Fonts
This website serves font files from and renders fonts using Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts. To properly display this site to you, these third parties may receive personal information about you, including:

In addition to the providers named above, I share your information only where necessary to deliver my services:

A second photographer, if one has been booked for your wedding — bound by the same confidentiality terms
I do not sell your information.
How long I keep your data
Enquiry-only contacts: up to 12 months from last contact, unless you book.
Client records and contracts: 7 years after your wedding or session, in line with HMRC requirements.
Image files: at least 12 months from delivery, after which they may be archived or deleted. I recommend you download and back up your gallery as soon as you receive it.
Marketing list: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
Request a copy of the personal data I hold about you
Ask me to correct any inaccurate data
Ask me to delete your data (subject to legal record-keeping obligations)
Object to or restrict how I use your data
Withdraw consent for marketing at any time
Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk)
